I'm only a couple weeks into this shoe, but have already
logged significant miles, and have only positives to report,
right out of the box. I never wore the 926 so can't compare
there. The 927 is a fairly heavy shoe, but I translate that
to "substantial". It feels stable and well cushioned. Fit is
true to size for me, even at 4E. I realize the SL 2 last
helps in that regard with a high and wide toe box.

I've been wearing these for years and love them. From the
Shoebuy catalog, I assume the 927s have replaced the 926s.
Except for special occasions when leather shoes are
required, I wear these all the time. I ordered in both black
and white and they're wonderful. They're extremely
comfortable, especially with the wide width (4E) and length
(size 15) I require. And when these wear out (I usually get

he did order them originally.

break in after that first day's wearing. I have arthritis in
the ankle and I have to say these are the best shoes I have
worn when walking. They're comfortable and give good

I've been using them exclusively for work and gym wear for
about 4 years now. For me, they are stable, supportive and
relatively long lasting. Note: These are not light in weight
nor are they the trendy, multicolored and shiny foot
coverings now in vogue at gyms. They work well for cross
training and serious, low to midspeed walking workouts.
